Our 2013 Avelina Pinot noir was aged in French oak barrels for 24 months, deepening the color and enhancing the complex aromas.
The deep garnet hues compliment the initial aromas of black cherry, currants, honey, cola, figs and spice, that mingle with a minerality unique to our vineyard site.
An earthiness, with rich dark fruits, lingers on the palate. This elegant wine will age gracefully for a good 5 to 7 years.
Pair with Salmon, Lamb or coq au vin. It’s a lovely pre-dinner sipping wine!
Just earned a Double Gold at the Oregon Wine Awards. Again Yeh!
