Great news! Many of you already suspected that the 2007 Avelina Pinot Noir was a very good deal, and now the Oregon Wine Awards has awarded it a gold medal, giving it Consensus Best in Class status in the $20 – $35 price range. This award is a particular honor because the judging panel consists of winemakers, retail shop owners, and sommeliers with intimate knowledge of Oregon wines.
